Songs of the fallen mountains

Synopsis

Above Chamonix, iconic mountain faces are collapsing, and glaciers are
breaking away one after another. In this increasingly unstable landscape,
Doria, 55, a glaciologist, fights for recognition of her research area,
where she’s preparing a new expedition.
Meanwhile, Martin, 65, a renowned American climber, returns to
Chamonix to receive an award honouring his career.
A younger generation of climbers encourages him to attempt one final
challenge: opening a new route on the Drus, a legendary peak now
fractured by rockfalls.
Up there, at over 2000 metres, Doria and Martin, former lovers, meet
again.
